Bethlehem and Verdell’s celebration inside the iconic Chicago Cultural Center belonged to the latter. Under shimmering mosaics, sweeping archways, and the soft glow of historic stained glass, their day unfolded with an energy that was magical, elegant, and joyous — the very words Bethlehem chose to describe her wedding.
Captured with extraordinary depth and emotion by Photographer, Kait Jensen, every image radiates beauty and intention. Florals and design by Atmosphere Events Group softened the grand architecture with sculptural arrangements, subtle colour palettes, and thoughtful detailing that framed the couple without ever overshadowing the venue’s extraordinary character.
The Bride
Bethlehem wore a striking gown by Australian Designer KYHA Bridal — contemporary in its structure, sculptural in silhouette, and unmistakably refined. Her look carried the perfect balance of modern minimalism and romantic softness. A sleek hairstyle by Donté Mitchell paired with luminous makeup by Alyssa Cruz created a clean, polished canvas that allowed her gown — and her jewellery — to shine.
Her shoes, Dolce Vita, added a chic, effortless finish. Every detail was impeccably chosen, but as the designers behind her earrings, we were especially moved by the way her bridal look came together the moment she placed them on.

Beneath the glow of the Cultural Center’s iconic Tiffany dome, the pearls caught the light with subtle movement, adding a quiet opulence to her already breathtaking look.
The Ceremony & Reception
Both ceremony and reception were held within the Chicago Cultural Center, creating a seamless transition from heartfelt vows to a night of uninhibited celebration. Officiated by a beloved family friend, Dominique, the ceremony felt intimate and personal — the kind of moment that stays with you long after the last guest has left.

Guests were treated to a beautifully curated meal by Ovy Signature Catering, followed by an unforgettable dance floor powered by DJ Sikwitit, whose energy kept the room alive all evening. As a final touch, personalized matchbook favours crafted by DeJamakes added a nostalgic, tactile detail for guests to take home — a subtle reminder of the evening’s warmth and intention.
