SHIPPING OVERVIEW:

  • FREE STANDARD WORLDWIDE SHIPPING is provided.

  • All orders will be processed and dispatched from Melbourne, Australia within 1-2 business days (excluding Australian pubic holidays or office closures communicated on homepage).

  • A tracking number will be emailed upon dispatch of all orders. Shipping updates may be emailed directly from the carrier as required.

DELIVERY ESTIMATES (NB: remote locations may take longer)

  • WORLDWIDE STANDARD: 7-14 business days via SENDLE Courier Service.

  • WITHIN AUSTRALIA: 3-7 business days depending on your usual Australia Post delivery times from Melbourne, Victoria.

  • EXPRESS POST AUSTRALIA: $5 flat rate paid at checkout for Australia Post Express shipping upgrade.

  • WORLDWIDE EXPRESS: 2-3 business days. Please email hello@ameliegeorgebridal.com for a cost estimate. All DHL costs including customs are paid for by Purchaser.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • Any sales made are expressly conditional upon Purchaser’s agreement to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

  • Amélie George reserves the right to change Terms without notice.

  • Pricing may be subject to change without notice.

  • Amélie George shall not be liable for failure to supply or for delay in performance due to fire, flood, strike or other labour difficulty, act of God, act of any governmental authority or of the Purchaser, riot, embargo, fuel or energy shortage, wrecks or delay in transportation, inability to obtain materials from usual sources or failure of suppliers to meet their contractual obligations or due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

  • If any such event occurs, we may extend delivery date by a period of time necessary to overcome the effect of such delay, allocate available product or cancel any purchase.

 

ORDERING:

  • Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation via email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please get in contact with us at: hello@ameliegeorgebridal.com.

  • Once shipped, your parcel can be tracked using the tracking number and instructions provided in a notification email.

  • It is your responsibility to arrange re-delivery or pick up from the delivery company if the parcel cannot be left at the address provided.

PAYMENT METHOD: 

  • Amélie George accepts Apple Pay, VISA and MasterCard through Stripe Payment Systems.

  • Please see our ‘Privacy Policy’ for details on credit card security measures.

  • Amélie George Pty Ltd will appear on your credit card statement.

  • All purchase transactions will be calculated and processed in Australian Dollars.

 

POSTAGE & HANDLING:

  • We offer FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY on all orders.

  • Optional express for Australia is available for $5 flat rate at the checkout, to be paid for by the Purchaser.

  • Inspection of goods is required upon receipt.

  • Delivery times specified in the ‘delivery confirmation email’ are an estimate only and Amélie George will not be liable for any reasonable or unavoidable delays.

  • While we use premium services, transit times are beyond our control.

  • All items are carefully packaged and shipped within 48 hours on Australian business days.

  • It is your responsibility to arrange re-delivery or pick up from the delivery company if the parcel cannot be left at the address provided.

 

TAXES & DUTIES:

  • All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.

  • The value of the order will be displayed on all packages, in accordance with customs regulations.

  • Once an order has been dispatched and tracking numbers sent, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to track the item and ensure it has cleared customs at the other end.

  • Amélie George accepts no responsibility for delays or denial enforced by any customs authority.

 

CURRENCY CONVERSION:

  • All prices listed on our site are charged to your credit card in Australian dollars.

  • Exchange rates are determined by the issuer of the credit card.

 

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS:

  • If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at hello@ameliegeorgebridal.com within 7 working days of your expected delivery date so that we may assist you.

  • If damage has occurred during shipping, all packaging must be retained by receiver and failure to do so, may invalidate any claim.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE:

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds unless a manufacturing fault is evident.

  • Please choose carefully as we are unable to offer an exchange or refund on earrings for hygiene reasons or in the event of a change of mind.

  • For all other items you may exchange within 7 days from date of purchase and within 15 days for international orders.

  • Customers will be responsible for all return shipping & re-shipping charges on exchanges.

  • Items not received within the specified timeframe will not be accepted.

  • Returns must include the original packaging with tags attached and in the exact condition it was sent.

  • Tracking must be provided for all return shipments.

  • Items must not have been worn.

 

REFUNDS:

  • Faulty items will be fully inspected before a refund is issued.

  • The faulty product must be sent within 3 business days of making a claim for faulty goods.

  • Refunds we will credited via Secure Pay to the credit card used when making the purchase.

 

FAULTY ITEMS:

  • All items are quality checked before they are dispatched.

  • The term ‘faulty’ specifically refers to a manufacturing defect when a product deviates from it’s intended design or purpose.

  • General wear and tear in the course of normal use is not deemed a manufacturing fault.

  • Amélie George is not responsible for the following:

  • Damage resulting from mishandling.

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods.

  • General wear and tear.

  • Damage caused by exposure to weather or improper environment.

  • Changes in the appearance of finishes over time.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Amélie George reserves the right to cancel any order at any time, in which case all funds paid by the Purchaser will be returned.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Our jewellery is handmade and can be very fragile.

  • Please pay attention to any specific care instructions included with your item.

  • Jewellery containing glass, resin or semi-precious stones are delicate and should be handled with care.

  • Crystal or glass stones breaking from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault.

  • If pressure is placed on the earring posts or if they are bent out of shape, they can become weak, which may result in breakage.

  • Please ensure to keep jewellery in its original packaging for safe keeping.

  • Cleaning with a soft cloth or warm soapy water is recommended when necessary but ensure all items are thoroughly dried afterwards.

  • Abrasive or chemical cleaners should never be used.

  • Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, the finish may rub off or discolour over time. This is natural wear and tear and is not considered a manufacturing fault.

 

VARIANCES IN SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES:

  • Natural stones vary in colour and size.

  • Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, it may vary slightly from the photograph on the website.

  • Slight variations are desired.

  • We are unable to accept exchanges based on the individual characteristics of stones.

 

WEIGHTS:

  • Please make sure to read the description of each design.

  • Weights are approximate only and may vary slightly due to variations in natural elements.

  • If you have any questions regarding the size or weight of a product, please enquire before making a purchase.
